A Message is defined as an email that you send to one or more of your subscribers.
There are two types of Messages. Standard Messages are sent immediately or at a scheduled time in the future. Autoresponders are sent automatically in response to subscriber actions.
Standard Messages can be sent to many subscribers at one time, which you control. Autoresponders are sent to individual subscribers that trigger them. The timing is determined by the triggering event, although you can control a delay between the event and when the message is sent.
Every Message has its own content or template which the user selects when he/she creates a Message. A Message uses an Audience to determine which subscribers may receive it. There are various other properties as well.
Messages may be active or inactive. Inactive Messages do not get sent even if their scheduled time occurs or if one of their triggering events happen.
Select a Message in the pane, double click your mouse or choose Edit Message and you will see the message.
Edit
Load Message properties to the Message Info form and html/text tab.
Copy
Copy all info of Message to new Message.
Delete
Delete Message. If the message is deleted it can not be restored.
Schedule
Schedule area is where you can add unlimited schedules for your Messages.
Track Indivdual Customer Activity
This is to activate url tracking so when a subscriber clicks on a link, reporting will track who clicked on it, how many times it was clicked, and when it was clicked.
Edit Email Message
Loads area where you can edit your own html/text code.
Preview
This item opens a new tab with a preview of the HTML and the Text format versions of the current campaign. Also you can look at the results of anti-spam checking here.
Send Test
Sends the Message to the test group.
Report by Sent Tests
Shows a report of test deliveries of your message.
Send Now
Sends a message to real subscribers to the selected audiences immediately.
Stop Delivery
This will Stop all current deliveries of your Message.
Reports
Shows reports of Messages which were sent to your chosen audiences.
