Unsubscribe is not like a suppression file. A suppression file is something you upload and an unsubscribe is based on a campaign that was sent out and the subscriber decided to click the unsubscribe link found in the footer of the email to stop receiving emails from you. When someone unsubscribes this doesn't update your suppression list. When someone unsubscribes it will mark that email address in your database as not subscribed and they will not be mailed again. With suppression list you can decide which campaigns you want to use these suppression lists or not. With unsubscribe you cannot select because the subscriber is unsubscribed from receiving emails whether or not you select a suppression list.
When someone chooses not to receive email marketing emails from any Emercury customers then users can click the nevermail found at the footer of the email. Nevermail list will not show up on the unsubscribe list nor on suppression list. It will only show up on our master list.
