Process on how to add your email address to "From Address" feature.
'From Address' is an added feature for Emercury email marketing manager if you want to use your own domain. You can use your own domain versus using the Emercury shared domain. This is for advanced users and comes with some changes to your SPF Records that you will need to follow. This can also be set directly from the campaign on step 3 under the Advanced area.
On the top menu click 'preferences'. to view the dropdown menu called 'From Address'.
You can add an email for this feature here. Please note that you have to verify that email address so it should be real. You can add as many addresses as you can as long as it's real and verified.
You enter may enter your email address and click the 'Add' button'.
You will see a pop up message on top to have that email address verified. You will see your added email address 'unverified' so you have to check your email address to confirm, if you haven't received the confirmation you may click 'Resend Request'
Take note that for this feature 'From Address' you cant use a free email address like yahoo, gmail, aol etc. See the error message below.
This is the email confirmation you have to verify in order to use this feature.
You see this pop up window after clicking the link.
You will see the your From Address as 'verified' meaning you can now use this feature.
Processes on how to use your email address to 'From Address' feature.
Click 'Campaigns' , select 'Email Campaigns' and click 'New Campaign'
You will see this screen and select 'Use the HTML editor'
You may create a name for your email campaign and you may click 'Create' to continue.
Below you will see a pop up message that your campaign has been successfully created. Now you may create the content of your email campaign.Click 'Next' to continue on the next page.
You need to fill out the required information in red rectangle, make sure you have to put a check mark on 'Use My Own Domain' and select the email address you added. You may click 'Edit Advance Options' as well for more tracking features. Click 'Next' to continue.
This will come up on your screen if hit 'Edit Advance Options' , you may click the link or click 'Yes' to continue.
Select your email list by putting a check mark on the box you wish to use and click 'Next' to continue.
You will see this pop up message as soon as you hit next. You may click 'Send Now' if you're ready.
It will confirm you if you want to send the message, you may click 'Yes' in order to send the message.
This will show you that your message is being process for sending. You may click the link 'Reporting Center' to check the status of your email campaign.
When campaign is sent, you should check headers of the email that you have gotten and "From address" should be the one that you set. Below you will see a sample email sent from "YourName" and his email address "youremail@emercury.net"
"YourName" must be your real name to gain TRUST from your subscribers. example:John Smith . "youremail@emercury.net" must be your real email address. example:johmsmith@prestigetechnologies.com
